Part of a series of paintings depicting iconic areas of Valletta, capital city of Malta. This bar is a famous landmark in a street which had a notorious reputation during WW2. The Street fell into disuse for some time but has made a dynamic comeback.

Part of a series of paintings depicting areas of Valletta, capital city of Malta. The original painting was an imagined blend of iconic characteristics of the City (il-Belt) and was made up from collage and mixed media.

Using mixed media, I have incorporated several iconic motifs which characterise the hussle and bustle and cafe life on streets of Valletta and the Three Cities across the Grand Harbour.
