EXCITING NEW VENTURE!
Starting from APRIL 9TH 2026 I will be holding acrylic painting classes once a week on Thursday evenings 17.30-19.30 at THE GALLERY @GALEA’S 221 STRAIT STREET VALLETTA. All levels can attend. My art classes are known to be stimulating, inspiring and most of all, fun!
COST: Every 4 lessons = 90 euros payable in advance. NOTE: Classes are non-refundable. In the event of extraordinary circumstances a missed class can be replaced in following 4 week course if there is space available.
You’ll be shown how to analyse the proportions of a landscape or still life image
so as to create better compositions. You’ll learn about ways to create interest both in the use of proportional layout and placement of colours to hold the viewer’s attention.

You’ll be shown how to mix colours, how to strategically place colours near each other to create visual impact. In time you will start to SEE all the colours around you and identify them.
Not just as a “blue” but a WARM or a COOL blue; not just a “red” but a COOL or a WARM red. Or a COOL yellow or a WARM yellow.

NOTE: The course fee does not include painting materials so bring your own OR buy what you need from Galea’a Art Shop and you’ll be entitled to a 15% discount. Its important to buy good quality materials if you want to avoid frustratingly weak results. The saying “Pay peanuts. Get monkeys” is very applicable to art materials!
