Caricatures

This category of my artistic endeavours might actually be my favourite pastime. I started producing cartoons while living in Bahrain, making light-hearted observations of iconic scenarios. Then my short stay in Naples Italy gave me plenty of material to play with. With my move to Malta in 2002, I tapped into an endless vein of hilarious situations which form part of everyday life. Then one day many years ago, at a loss to find a suitable gift for a friend’s birthday, I did a caricature of her. The “character assassination” collection was born. The rest is history.
